Meet the Owner, James Coates
Welcome to Coates Electrical Services! My name is James Coates, and I’m proud to serve the Bedford, Forest, Lynchburg, and nearby areas with reliable electrical services.
I started Coates Electrical Services in 2021 after spending 10 years in the electrical industry. My goal was to build a company that not only delivers quality work but also puts people first. I wanted to create a business that treats customers like neighbors, focusing on clear communication and ensuring you understand your project every step of the way.
One of my favorite parts of this job is meeting new people and solving the unique challenges that come with each project. Whether it’s troubleshooting an issue or installing something new, I enjoy helping customers find solutions that work for them.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my wife and our two kids. We often go on road trips to explore new places together. Family is a big part of my life, and I bring that same care and attention to every customer I serve.
